Malaysia Airlines offers more cargo space to Java

Since 15 December 2019 Malaysia Airlines has been offering increased capacity on the Kuala Lumpur – Surakarta (SOC, Indonesia) route, with the addition of A330 aircraft, replacing the B737-800. The route that is served twice weekly also gains more bellyhold cargo capacity.

Instead of the 44.1 cbm provided by the formerly used aircraft, the A330-300 deployed for the first flights and the A330-200 operating from today, 8 January 2020, until 25 March, more than double the cargo space available on this route (132.4 cbm). (ah)
