Marketplace reaches new heights

Wildberries has opened its highest-altitude order pickup point in Khorog, Tajikistan, at around 2,500 m above sea level in the Pamir Mountains. The new location will serve all seven districts of Khorog and more than 40 rural communities, providing access to millions of marketplace products for about 180,000 residents in this remote area. "For me, this is not just a business project but a personal source of pride and a symbol that Pamir can be part of modern global processes," said Anvar Nazarmamadov, owner of the new pickup point.

Delivery will be free, with goods flown into Tajikistan and then trucked directly to Khorog within 7–8 days. Wildberries, which reaches nearly 80 million buyers across eight countries, relies on its network of over 90,000 pickup points – the preferred delivery method for more than 90% of its online orders according to the company.
