MOL reshuffling management in June

The Japanese carrier Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd (MOL), whose president is Koichi Muto, has decided on a number of changes to its board of directors, corporate auditors, executive officers, and their responsibilities. These changes are subject to approval at the annual shareholders' meeting to be held on 21 June. On the current board of directors, senior managing executive officer, Kazuhiro Sato, has now been named representative director. The former managing executive officers Junichiro Ikeda and Masahiro Tanabe have been promoted to directors, and the former general manager of the investor relations office, Takehiko Ota, to corporate auditor. Representative director Toshitaka Shishido will retire from his current post and become an executive adviser, whilst the outgoing directors Masafumi Yasuoka will become an adviser and Shugo Aoto is to be president of MOL Techno-Trade Ltd. Corporate auditor Junichi Narita is set to become director and managing executive officer of the Daibiru Corporation. There are 24 further changes among directors, auditors and executive officers.
