More space for automobile logistics

The BLG Group has expanded its automobile logistics site in Dodendorf, Germany for its South Korean client Hyundai. The additional space of 95,000 sqm now brings the inland terminal's surface to 230,000 sqm for around 11,000 new and used vehicles. The new area is exclusively dedicated to Hyundai Motor Deutschland for used car operations. The site is located close to the A14 and A2 freeways and has a rail connection.

The company purchased the expansion area in Dodendorf in 2020, and has used the past months to specially reinforce the ground and install technical equipment. BLG increased the area by 75,500 sqm already in 2019. Vehicles from various manufacturers can not only be stored on the site, but will also be completed and processed there in future. (sh)

Almost five million vehicles were handled, transported or technically processed in the BLG Group's network in 2020.
