NAS lands in west and southeast Africa

GLS – NAS, a joint venture company formed by Global Logistics Services (GLS) and National Aviation Services (NAS), has broken ground in the Liberian capital Monrovia for a new 2,700 sqm cargo terminal at Roberts international airport (RIA). Expected to be completed by April next year, the Roberts air cargo centre (RACC) aims at improving RIA’s air cargo operations to fulfil international standards and support the West African country’s export supply capacity.

Its size meets a baseline demand forecast for the next 14 years and can be expanded up to 3,553 sqm. NAS will also offer ground handling and cargo services in Mozambique beginning July 2019, including import and export cargo handling and storage, for scheduled as well as ad-hoc airlines at all airports in the Southeast African country.
