New Batam–Singapore shuttle

CMA CGM Indonesia has launched the 'Batam Singapore Xpress' (BSX), a new shuttle service connecting Batam (Indonesia) directly with Singapore and providing access to the group’s global network.

The service offers two weekly departures, aiming to enable flexible and reliable links to major markets worldwide as the company reported. By integrating documentation, customs and intermodal solutions into a one-stop shop, BSX wants to simplify operations for shippers in Batam.

According to CMA CGM a local team will support customers. The first sailing is scheduled for 27 August 2025. With the simultaneous opening of a new office in Batam, CMA CGM aims to reinforce its presence in Indonesia. (js)
