New leadership at dm for 2026
Patrick Aichinger will take over the leadership of international logistics for dm Austria and its associated countries from 1 January 2026, joining the extended management team and receiving power of attorney. A logistics expert with extensive experience in various leadership roles, Aichinger has been with dm since 2022, focusing on transport and point of sale logistics. His new role will include enhancing the logistics network and improving the efficiency of logistics processes across the supply chain.
In conjunction with this change, the Marketing & Purchasing department will be restructured, with Kathrin Shepherd and Lukas Mirtl appointed as new area leaders starting 1 January 2026. Shepherd will manage assortment, marketing and omnichannel retailing, while Mirtl will oversee assortment and operations. Both leaders bring valuable experience from their time at dm and impressive academic backgrounds in international business and supply chain management, positioning them well for their new responsibilities within the organisation.
