New train connects Vienna and Poland


Hupac has enhanced its network with Eastern Europe and beyond by establishing a new service between Vienna in Austria and Warsaw in Poland with seamless connections to Russia and further.

 

With this new link, the Swiss intermodal operator now offers shipments along the route Istanbul (Turkey) - Budapest (Hungary) - Vienna - Warsaw - Russia - Far East. The service provides a fast and seamless solution for eco-friendly intermodal transport serving the emerging markets of the East, said Hupac.

 

The new train runs once a week in each direction and departs every Friday in Vienna WienCont and every Thursday in Warsaw Pruszkow. Transit time is two days. (ben)
