Passing on the baton at Envirotainer

After five years at the head of the company, Michael Berg will step down as CEO of Envirotainer as of 1 September 2021.

Envirotainer develops air freight solutions for temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals. During Berg's time of office, the company witnessed an upswing, as a press release said: "Revenue and profitability have increased substantially, customer satisfaction NPS scores have doubled, and the organisation has been strengthened."

Kenneth Bengtsson, chairman of the board, thanked Berg for his work and commitment. Peter Gisel-Ekdahl will take the helm. Prior to joining Envirotainer, he served as president of business area airtech and group vice President at Munters Group.

Gisel-Ekdahl holds an MSc from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and an MBA from Copenhagen Business School. (cd)
