PayPal–DP world deal
DP world has signed a memorandum of understanding with PayPal to collaborate on cross-border digital payments. The initiative, described by DP world as a first of its kind, is designed to simplify international transactions for merchants, shippers and marketplaces by offering faster settlement, transparency and lower costs. Payments that currently take several days could be completed within minutes.
Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, group chairman and CEO of DP world, said the collaboration reflects the company’s focus on enabling global businesses to operate more efficiently across markets. "These partnerships allow us to bring trusted, digital-first solutions to global commerce, helping businesses and individuals trade more efficiently," he added. (js)
