Port of Guadeloupe: business development council reshuffle
A new head of the business development council has been elected at Port Caraibes, the "Grand Port de Guadeloupe". The new president is Katie Lanneau and Willy Rosier was chosen as vice-president. Every French "Grand Port" has a 20-member strong council composed of people from the port authority, local companies and the municipality. The council's advice is compulsory for the tariffs policy, strategic projects and fiscal measures. Lanneau, currently working at the University des Antilles, graduated in France with a thesis on the business implications of various customs systems.
