Quadrise appoints Peter Borup as CEO
Quadrise PLC, a UK-based developer of low-emissions fuels and biofuels, has appointed Peter Borup as CEO effective today, 1 October 2025. With over 30 years’ experience in global shipping, including senior roles at Maersk, D/S Norden, Lauritzen Bulkers and Norvic, Borup brings expertise from hubs such as Copenhagen, Singapore and Dubai. He has also advised maritime technology ventures, including Shipster.ai.
Chairman Andy Morrison said Borup’s shipping knowledge and decarbonisation focus come at a pivotal moment as Quadrise advances its transition fuels towards commercialisation. Borup added that the company’s technology can cut emissions and costs, supporting shipping’s move to a greener future. (ah)
