Railfreight expert bowing out of DB Cargo
DB Cargo’s board position for sales and marketing remains a hot potato. It was recently made public that Raimund Stüer is leaving DB Cargo. He is currently responsible for the sales and marketing activities of Europe's major freight railway.
Stüer, who holds a business degree, has spent most of his career to date in railfreight transport. Stüer, a co-founder, shareholder and executive of the private freight operating company TX Logistik, established the company as an international provider on the north-south corridor during his tenure from 2000 to 2011.
He also served as senior vice-president at Kuehne + Nagel, where his responsibilities included global products and services in rail and intermodal logistics. (ben)
