Rath to lead HR at DB Schenker

DB Schenker's supervisory board has appointed Katharina Rath as the new member of the management board responsible for human resources. She will assume her new role on 1 December 2020.

For almost two decades, Rath has held several positions at Continental Automotive Technologies, most recently as senior vice president human relations, automotive technologies and holistic engineering & technologies and as member of the automotive board.

"Rath is an internationally experienced expert in various fields of HR. The supervisory board and I are very pleased to have gained her talent, her know-how and her leadership skills for DB Schenker's management board," said Levin Holle, chairman of Schenker's supervisory board.

Rath replaces Thomas Schulz, who, after eight years as head of human resources, will be leaving DB Schenker on 31 October 2020 at the end of his regular appointment period. (mw)
