Röhlig Logistics picks manager for global airfreight

The family-owned logistics company Röhlig, which is headquartered in Bremen (Germany), appointed Andreas Polychronakos as its new Global Air Freight Director with effect from 1 January 2021.

Polychronakos succeeded Dirk Schneider, who has headed the Röhlig Germany organisation since April 2020 and continued in his previous role as Global Air Freight Director on an interim basis before this new appointment.

Röhlig Logistics delivers services for sea freight, airfreight, project and contract logistics. Polychronakos joined Röhlig Germany as a sales director in 2018.

Hylton Gray, Röhlig Logistics CEO for sea freight, air freight, contract logistics and sales, said that “we want to further strengthen this area, which is facing a global shortage of products and freight, and are pleased to welcome an experienced manager, who’s familiar with our company, as our Global Air Freight Director. His expertise will help us ensure the strong organic growth of our airfreight portfolio." (amh)
