Romania’s intermodal overview
The Freight forwarders association of Romania (User) has launched an online map of the country’s intermodal terminals, now available at the website of the association. Presented during 'TransLogistica Romania 2025' in the intermodal transport panel, the initiative aims to centralise all existing terminal data nationwide. According to User, the project was developed after identifying the lack of a complete and updated overview of Romania’s intermodal infrastructure.
The map is designed to improve transparency, support planning and foster development across the logistics community. User invites companies to contribute information or updates to keep the tool current and accurate. In the next phase, the association will share the map with European organisations such as Clecat, Uirr and national forwarding associations to promote Romania’s intermodal potential and integration into the continent’s transport network.
