Saudia Cargo moves Da Vinci's "flying machines"

While the Louvre museum in Paris (France) is presenting an exhibition on Leonardo Da Vinci (1452-1519) until 24 February 2020 to mark the fifth centenary of the artist’s death, Saudia Cargo has dedicated its air cargo and logistical capabilities to transport 20 digital artworks of paintings and drawings of the Italian artist, from Milan (Italy) to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.

This exhibition is about integrating cultural heritage, tradition and technological innovation, a theme the carrier cherishes. The Italian consulate is proud of this quite unique event: it will be the first thematic exhibition made only with high level digital reproductions and it will be one of the first displays of figurative art in Jeddah - a chance to bring to the attention of art lovers around the world the social change which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is undergoing within its "Vision 2030".
