Scandlines finds new CEO


The supervisory board of ferry company Scandlines has appointed Carsten Nørland, senior vice president international at the Royal Unibrew Brewery, as new CEO, effective 1 September 2021. He replaces Søren Poulsgaard Jensen, who will leave the German-Danish cooperation after ten years at the helm. Nørland has held executive roles at Copenhagen Airport, Flügger and Masterfoods/ MARS Inc.

 

Chairman of the supervisory board at Scandlines, Vagn Sørensen: "Nørland will bring exactly the right economic and international skills and experience to continue the good results in the coming years until and not least after the opening of the Fehmarnbelt fixed link." (amh)
