Second Pakistan carrier with widebody capacity

Becoming the second active Pakistani carrier operating widebody jets after Pakistan International Airlines, Islamabad-based Serene Air took delivery of its first A330-200 at the end of August. The privately-owned carrier currently operates four B737-800 (photo) on domestic routes.

In UAE media, Serene Air CEO Muhammad Safdar Khan is cited being “ready to commence international operations to Dubai and Sharjah and followed by Jeddah and Riyadh", and also having "firm plans to explore key destinations in China and the UK.” Two more A330 are announced to be added to the fleet "in the next three or four months".
