Solid growth for Gefco
Gefco, a French automotive logistics provider, drove up its H1/2018 turnover by 6.2% to EUR 2.4 billion. The increase was partially due to greater demand for integrated logistics solutions. H1/2018 ebit amounted to EUR 94.9 million (H1/2017: EUR 83.3 million).
Emmanuel Arnaud, executive vice-president commerce and marketing: "We continued to diversify our client base and geographic locations in H1, and boosted sales substantially in Central Europe and the Middle East. Now we are planning to enlarge our North Africa portfolio before the end of the year.”
Gefco has now started to delivery Renault-Nissan vehicles to Russia, and commenced operations at a new location in Nitra (Slovakia), to provide services for the Lear Corporation, an automotive supplier. (mw)
