Southgate updates eco framework
Southgate global has updated its 'Eco Product Framework' to support logistics and fulfilment customers in cutting waste and conserving resources. Based on five principles – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Replace and Repair – the framework evaluates existing and new products against sustainability criteria as the company reported. Examples include automated strapping and wrapping machines that reduce material use, shredders that repurpose cardboard for void fill, edge boards made from recyclable materials, and air pillows produced with 30% recycled content.
