St Petersburg airport finds new investors
A consortium of international investors comprising Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), Russia-China Investment Fund (RCIF), Mubadala Development Company (UAE), Baring Vostok Private Equity Fund V (Baring Vostok), and co-investors from the Middle East have announced the completion of a transaction to acquire a 25% stake (USD 200 million) in Thalita Trading, the holding company of the Northern Capital Gateway, which manages St Petersburg's Pulkovo airport (LED).
RDIF CEO Kirill Dmitriev: "We are confident that the arrival of new shareholders will contribute to the dynamic development of one of the largest airports in Russia."
According to ACI Europe, LED handled 13,377 t of cargo in H1/2017, a 21.2% year-on-year increase. (ah)
