Swiss begins second new long-haul route this winter
According to its winter timetable, Swiss Worldcargo, the airfreight division of Swiss International Air Lines, is offering flights to new global destinations. Twice weekly flights from Zurich to Colombo began on 3 November 2018, and twice weekly flights to Ho Chi Minh City will start on 15 November.
From today (7 November), Swiss connects its hub with Buenos Aires, where Argentina's transport minister, Guillermo Dietrich (centre), visited a new cargo terminal last month.
Ashwin Bhat, Swiss head of cargo: "The introduction of these routes offers great new opportunities for us. In addition to our increased cargo capacity with the arrival of new B777-300ERs, new destinations allow us to showcase our quality and service on a variety of routes." (ah)
