Swiss Post unveils new Sihlpost branch
Swiss Post opened the redesigned Sihlpost branch in Zurich on 1 December 2025, establishing it as Switzerland's most modern service centre after ten months of renovations. This updated location features meeting zones and digital consulting options, catering to the changing needs of customers. The Sihlpost branch will also serve as a venue for events, promoting collaboration between local and national partners.
As part of a broader strategy, Swiss Post plans to invest around CHF 100 m by 2028 to modernise its branches. The Sihlpost branch offers innovative services, including interactive advice and a telco module for mobile subscriptions. Its event programme kicks off on 4 December 2025, with discussions involving artists and historians. The cantonal councillor of Zurich highlighted the importance of providing reliable postal services that balance digital and physical interactions, reinforcing Swiss Post's commitment to serving its customers and enhancing community connections.
