Turkish Cargo partners with Atlas Air for B747F service
Turkish Cargo has signed a long-term agreement with Atlas Air Worldwide to expand its global freighter capacity. Starting this month, a Boeing 747-400F operated by Atlas Air will fly on behalf of Turkish Cargo from Istanbul to key destinations across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
The partnership aims to boost Turkish Cargo’s network and service speed. "This collaboration will create long-term value," said Ahmet Bolat (left), Chairman of Turkish Airlines. Atlas Air CEO Michael Steen added: "This agreement reflects the strong demand for widebody freighters and our shared commitment to safe and reliable operations." The deal strengthens Istanbul’s role as a key global air cargo hub. (ah)
