USA: JV kicks off with two refrigeration units
Schmitz Cargobull and Utility Trailer Manufacturer have launched the JV Cargobull North America (CBNA). As a first step, the partners have developed two transport refrigeration units specially designed to meet the demands of North American refrigerated freight haulers and California’s strict emissions requirements. Both refrigeration machines are equipped with a common rail diesel engine and a hybrid-power-trail.
In a next step, the partners will introduce fully electric TÜV-homologated models that are certified by the German technical inspection association and equipped with battery-powered recuperation axles. (ben)
