The first container with cars has been hauled by rail from Chengdu to Vorsino (Russia) and then transported by HGV to the Rosva terminal in the Kaluga region for clearance through customs. The cars will held in intermediate storage until they are required by a car dealer.
It is expected that further shipments will be organised on a regular basis; the volume with be around 60 cars per month until the end of 2018, rising to 1,000 cars per month from 2019. (ben)
