Warehouse extension in Poland
H&M Group and its services provider Arvato Supply Chain Solutions have broken ground for the expansion of the distribution centre in Stryków, Poland. The partners, who have been cooperating in Poland since 2018, have extended their contracts for several years. Warehouse size will be extended from 40,000 to 55,000 sqm by April 2022, increasing the current annual outbound capacity by around 30%.
Currently, the Stryków hub supplies online customers in Poland, Czechia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Slovakia. When the extension is completed, the logistics centre will have a total storage area of 75,000 sqm on two levels, including the mezzanine. The logistics company is part of Arvato Holding, a division of Bertelsmann. (sh)
