Weiss and Streck celebrate milestone
Gebrüder Weiss and Germany’s Streck transport are celebrating 50 years of collaboration in European cargo logistics. The milestone was marked at Gebrüder Weiss’s headquarters in Lauterach, Austria. "What we are celebrating today is the first 50-year partnership in Gebrüder Weiss’s history – something we’re very proud of," said Wolfram Senger-Weiss, CEO of Gebrüder Weiss. "Both companies share family-owned roots and a common understanding of quality, customer focus and responsibility," he added.
Since 1975, the partnership has evolved from single general cargo shipments between Austria and Germany into a network based on regional strengths as Gebrüder Weiss reported. Streck handles southwest Germany for Gebrüder Weiss, while the Austrian company manages shipments to Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Romania.
