WFS secures freight handling deal

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), part of SATS, has secured a contract with China Cargo Airlines for freight handling services at Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, coinciding with the airline's resumption of all-freight flights. The contract commenced on 20 November 2025, with WFS set to manage freight warehouse operations and full ramp handling for three weekly Boeing 777F flights connecting China and Paris.

Additionally, WFS will provide road feeder services between Paris and various regional airports in France and other major European airports. This new agreement continues a longstanding relationship, extending over 25 years, between WFS and China Cargo Airlines, as well as its parent company, China Eastern Airlines. WFS also manages cargo for China Eastern's passenger flights in Paris. Laurent Bernard, WFS managing director France, expressed pride in the partnership, highlighting the significance of both airlines to WFS's operations in France.
