Whistle blows for Ludwigshafen-Verona train service
Another new rail link to Italy has been added to the intermodal network operated by TX Logistik. From 21 September, the German intermodal service provider will run a train between Ludwigshafen (Germany) and Verona. TX Logistik initially plans to provide four round trips per week.
From Ludwigshafen, the load units depart from the KTL terminal in the BASF grounds and arrive 24 hours later in Verona. In addition to Ludwigshafen, TXL currently offers regular connections from six locations in Germany, as well as Gothenburg (Sweden) and Padborg (Denmark), to northern Italy’s industrial region.
The company runs around 40 intermodal trains per week to Verona Quadrante. (ben)
