1,111th locomotive rolls off the assembly line
Czech locomotive manufacturer CZ LOKO recently reached another milestone when the 1,111th railway vehicle produced left the gates of its production plants. That vehicle was an EffiShunter 600 locomotive ordered by the Cepro company.
The ceremonial handover took place in Loukov, where the major Czech fuel distributor has one of its warehouses with a fully automated tanker terminal. It is this area that the locomotive will serve. This is the third machine that the company has purchased from CZ LOKO.
From an original repair shop of locomotives of regional importance, which literally struggled for survival in the mid-1990s, today’s CZ LOKO has become Europe's number two in the production of new diesel shunting locomotives. (ben)
