12 days from Khorgos to Kosakoy

Members of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Consortium – ADY Container (Azerbaijan), KTZ Express (Kazakhstan), GR Logistics (Georgia) and Pacific Eurasia Logistics (Turkey) - have set a new record by delivering a freight train from Khorgos (Altinkol train station) on the China-Kazakh border to Izmit (Kosekoy train station) in Turkey in just 12 days.

A train consisting of 43 x 40-foot containers carrying various cargoes entered Kazakhstan through the Altinkol train station heading for the port of Aktau, where DY Container shipped the containers further to the port of Baku in Azerbaijan. From there the containers travelled to Akhalkalaki in Georgia, and then to the city of Izmit in Turkey by the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway. (ben)
