Agency agreement signed in Oslo
The Scandinavian arm of the French container shipping company CMA CGM has signed a pact with GAC Norway. Under the terms of the agreement, GAC Norway will meet the needs of CMA CGM vessels for agency, husbandry and mandatory NOx reporting in Oslo, the country capital and home to its largest port.
CMA CGM Group vessels call 52 times per year at the Norwegian port to load/discharge a wide range of containerized goods from around the world. The carrier’s weekly service links the Scandinavian ports of Oslo, Moss, Brevik and Gothenburg with the CMA CGM hub in Rotterdam, and beyond to its global network.
The first port call under the new deal took place on 9 February when the feeder vessel “Pengalia” called at Sjursøya Container Terminal in Oslo to discharge/load cargo.
