Albatros Express extends network

With effect from 10 May, TFG Transfracht is introducing a new set-up for the port of Koper (Slovenia) and providing it with direct connections to the Albatros Express network.

The move means that, for the first time, containers can be transported according to a regular timetable, resulting in faster transit times.

Trains will run four times per week from Austria and southern Germany to Koper, and vice versa. The Enns and Salzburg terminals (both Austria) will each have twice weekly departures for import and export boxes.

In addition, the intermodal operator’s Munich-Salzburg rail service offer a direct link between southern Germany and the port of Koper. (ben)
