Ameriflight expanding fleet with Saabs

Ameriflight and Jetstream Aviation Capital have entered into a partnership for the lease and delivery of 15 Saab 340B(F) cargo aircraft for the USA’s largest cargo airline that operates under FAA part 135 rules.

The first aircraft will join Ameriflight operations in the fourth quarter of this year. The aircraft will help meet unprecedented demand for the company’s services, including Ameriflight’s expedited supply chain services and regional feeder services for the world’s largest overnight express carriers.

Ameriflight CEO Paul Chase said that the full-freighter operator is “proud to team up with Jetstream to operate Saab 340Bs. This aircraft offers the market the best combination of cubic capacity and cost, which will suit our customers and their growing needs for years to come.” (cj)
