Another multimodal link from port of Barcelona
A container rail service between the port of Barcelona and Miranda container terminal (TCM) in Miranda de Ebro was launched a short while ago. The regular connection, managed by the logistics operator Synergy, a member of the Hutchison Ports group, will be flexibly stepped up in line with demand.
With the offer TCM, located in northern Spain, now has a direct link to the port of Barcelona in the Mediterranean. TCM also provides storage, container stripping and stuffing, as well as transport services. Miranda de Ebro serves, inter alia, the Alava, Burgos, La Rioja, Santander, Palencia and Asturias regions in Spain.
The new rail service, together with the twelve existing round trips between the port of Barcelona and Noain (Navarra), augments Synergy’s multimodal offers for northern Spain. (kd)
