Bergé concludes project in Bilbao


The Bergé logistics group has finalised its new automated terminal project in the port of Bilbao (Spain). Located at Terminal 2 of the Santurce dock, this infrastructure comprises technologies aimed at reducing waiting times in operation while also complying with the protocol recommendations for Covid-19.

 

The terminal will have two differentiated access points, one for trucks and one for private vehicles, employees and visitors. Both have systems to control and monitor the entry and exit of vehicles or weighing scales with immediate issuance of delivery notes and automated information "just in time".

 

Bergé operates three terminals in the port of Bilbao that handle 4 million t of goods and consign around 800 ships every year. (mw)
