Better facilities for pharma distribution
German operator Simon Hegele is strengthening its infrastructure for the distribution of pharmaceutical products at its locations in Karlsruhe and Frankfurt/Raunheim. The project also includes applying for and obtaining GxP licences and hiring about 200 employees in the next twelve months.
Based on the first customer contracts, Simon Hegele will start operations as early as H1/2022. "The storage and distribution of pharmaceutical products are subject to high requirements," says Stefan Ulrich, CEO of the Simon Hegele Group. "Our distribution centres in Karlsruhe and Frankfurt will be designed to meet these specific challenges." (sh)
