BLG Logistics working for Puma


The sportswear manufacturer Puma has started to build a new logistics and distribution centre on an around 12 ha tract of land in Geiselwind, located between Würzburg and Nuremberg (all Germany). The service provider BLG Logistics is responsible for the overall project management and will operate the facility when finished.

 

The multi-channel centre, equipped with over 22 km of modern conveyor technology will give Puma a high degree of automation. Some 480 shuttle vehicles will be installed to move more than 120'000 items around the logistics centre. (mw)
