Boss of all Spanish ports


The Official State Gazette has reported the appointment of Francisco Toledo Lobo as the new president of Puertos del Estado, after his nomination to the council of ministers at the proposal of José Luis Ábalos the minister of transport, mobility and urban agenda.

 

Toledo has been president of the port authority of Castellón from September 2015 to the present. During this period, according to the ministry of transport, the port of Castellón has become the most profitable port authority, with respect to its own funds, and has grown twice as much as the average of the Spanish port system.

 

The newly appointed president, born in Castellón de la Plana in 1962, is a bachelor and doctor of mathematics from the University of Valencia, where he was a professor from 1985 to 1991. Later, he joined the Jaume I University, of which he has been a professor of computer science and artificial intelligence since 1998. (mw)
