CEO to remain at trans-o-flex
German express services provider trans-o-flex, which specialises in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, consumer electronics industries and other sensitive goods sectors, reports that its current CEO Wolfgang P. Albeck (centre) will retain his role until 31 March 2024.
Christoph Schoeller (left), from the trans-o-flex shareholder group of the Schoeller and Amberger (Peter Amberger, right) families, underlines “Albeck’s implementation of two strategic decisions”, since he joined as CEO in April 2017, which have reinforced “the trust of (trans-o-flex’s) customers after difficult years and have been especially effective during the coronavirus crisis.”
Indeed, since Albeck joined the management, the company “has been back in the black” and the turnover increased by 4% to EUR 515 million in 2020.
Before joining trans-o-flex, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Albeck had been working at Deutsche Post DHL since 1997. He started his professional career working for medium-sized haulage contractors and then moved to TNT Express, where he remained for around ten years. (amh)
