Cincinnati airport celebrates all-time high
After becoming the central air hub for Amazon Prime Air earlier this year, Kentucky's Cincinnati airport (CVG) set a new monthly cargo tonnage record by handling 92,988 t in August, an increase of 39% year-over-year.
CEO Candace McGraw said: "The new activity and additional landed weight will enable CVG to continue lowering its landing fees, benefiting all carriers while ensuring we remain a great place to do business. CVG operates its business in a very strategic way, and we continue to see tremendous results." (ah)
