CMA CGM pursues air cargo plans

It is not just the integrators. The carrier CMA CGM is also working hard on setting up its own air cargo business. According to news from the trade journal "aerotelegraph", the shipping company is currently negotiating with Qatar airways about the acquisition of two Airbus A330 F.

However, the plan to buy 30% of the stakes of the Groupe Dubreuil - owner of the long-haul airlines Air Caraïbes and French Bee – has now been cancelled. The shipping company, which started these negotiations in September 2020, nevertheless continues to bank on its new affiliate CMA CGM Air Cargo. (cd)
