Contargo takes over Neuss Intermodal Terminal
Neuss Intermodal Terminal GmbH now belongs to the Contargo group and trades under the name Contargo Neuss GmbH, with immediate effect. The takeover of the inland terminal between Duisburg and Koblenz (both Germany) gives Contargo storage space for 10,000 teu, three barge berths and four railway tracks. Three cranes and four mobile vehicles guarantee swift container transfers.
Services offered in Neuss include hazardous goods and reefer handling, as well as container maintenance and repairs. This portfolio and connections to transport networks are to be further augmented in coming years. (ben)
