Cooperation in Japan

Silk Way West Airlines and Nippon Express Holdings have signed an air cargo memorandum of understanding to enhance their solutions portfolio and respond more flexibly to changing supply chains.

The agreement strengthens Silk Way West Airlines’ presence in the Japanese market while helping Nippon Express Holdings to expand its business by providing cargo capacity in a worldwide network.

Silk Way West Airlines has served the Japanese air cargo market since 2018, with weekly flights connecting Baku with Kansai International Airport. It has also operated regular flights to Narita International Airport, Japan’s most important air cargo gateway, since 2021. (cj)
