Craiss sets up joint venture with ITK

The German logistics company Albert Craiss is enlarging its business field and now offers services in the air and sea freight sector. To this end, the Baden-Württemberg-based service provider is setting up a joint venture named LSA Logistics Sea & Air with ITK Internationales Transport-Kontor from Karlsruhe.

The new JV has branch offices in Hamburg and Frankfurt and Stuttgart airports, so it has direct access to major shipping and air transport hubs in Germany.

Michael Craiss, managing director of Albert Craiss, explained: "By uniting ITK and Craiss, two medium-sized companies are pooling their forces and enhancing their competences. We now offer customers flexible order processing and efficient transport management by providing land transport and air and sea freight services.” (mw)
