Delta and Korean create transpacific JV
Delta Air Lines and Korean Air have agreed to create a transpacific joint venture that will offer an enhanced and expanded network, industry-leading products and service between the USA and Asia. The agreement, signed last week (wk 25), deepens the carriers' historic partnership, which spans nearly two decades.
The JV will create a combined network serving more than 290 destinations in the Americas and more than 80 in Asia. It also aims to provide increased belly cargo cooperation across the Pacific. (ah)
