Digital freight platform under starter's orders
A digital freight forwarder named Twill will be launched by Damco in the UK on 10 April 2017. The company, a provider of freight forwarding and supply chain management services, says Twill will enable customers to book, manage and monitor shipments online.
Initially focused on managing ocean shipments on the China to UK trade lane, Twill will grow by adding more shipping routes and products over the coming months. Troels Stovring, CEO of Twill Logistics, pointed out: “Twill is designed to keep the freight booking process as simple as possible.” (rf)
