E-freight agenda showcased in Bahrain

Kale Logistics Solutions, a global IT provider to the logistics, airports and transport sectors, presented an inclusive agenda on adoption of the e-freight industry initiative by focusing on collaborative participation by all the stakeholders, more so, by the technology challenged participants who attended the Bahrain international airport development forum.


Bahrain international airport is set for a major five-year overhaul to upgrade its facilities and expand through an airport modernization programme. According to the plans, the work will involve a comprehensive redevelopment of the airport to boost the current annual cargo capacity of 219,333 t. Kale's subject matter expert and senior vice-president, Vineet Malhotra, shared extensive details of e-freight progress across regions, and specifically its relevance to emerging and developing airports worldwide.
